The People of the Annapurna Circuit
While on the Annapurna Circuit, trekkers will meet a wide variety of people: it is a very diverse region, culturally and ethnically, with Hindu Brahmins, the Tibetan-like people of the Manang Valley, and prosperous Thakalis among the groups who live there. And that's not including those passing through, such as ethnically Tibetan people on a pilgrimage to sacred Muktinath. The following are some of the people most likely to be encountered on Annapurna Circuit treks.
